The LNRS Talks Programme at The Athenaeum

The Talks programme for the 2021/22 season has now been finalised.  Members will receive the programme with their membership cards as usual, or you can view the calendar on the events page.

Talks will be held at The Athenaeum,  12-18 Church Alley, Liverpool, L1 3DD at 12.30pm on the dates specified.  Doors open at 12.00pm and refreshments are available.

It is intended that video recordings of the talks will be published on the website approximately a week after each event.

The programme will resume on 16 September 2022, with a talk entitled ‘Alfred Holt and the Ocean Steamship Company’ by Tony Melling, which will chart the life and career of Liverpool engineer and shipowner Alfred Holt who, with his brother, created one of the most successful shipping lines in Britain.

If you have any questions about the programme, or any other aspect of the LNRS, please contact us through the website or by email to: contactlnrs@gmail.com.
