BBC History Project – World War 2

We have received a request from the BBC who are producing a series of online films focusing on the stories of men, women and children who remember World War 2.  They are interested in stories that have not necessarily been told yet and would like to hear from anyone, both veterans and civilians, who has memories of life during the War.  They have expressed a particular interest in the Merseyside area, in particular people who were involved with shipbuilding and Cammell Laird.  At the moment they are working on films specifically about 1939/40 but will be expanding this to include testimony for the whole of World War 2.
